Love….to find it is a blessing. To be comfortable in it is a luxury. To celebrate it is joy. I was so honored to have been asked to capture a love story that is as true and pure as Andy and Kate’s.
They share many of the same things in life but are two halves that make one perfect whole. Their love is so evident and true that there is no question that they only have eyes for each other.
Everyone came to support and celebrate Kate and Andy. There were tears of happiness and lots of laughter shared on their special day. Not a single detail was overlooked. Vintage chic details at every turn. Gorgeous fresh flowers added so much color and fragrance to the air! Not to mention the lavender toss as they made their grand exit from the church! The old 3100 Chevrolet Truck that Andy’s father had fully restored was their ride for the evening. We used it for their engagement photos as well! It was such a nice touch for their theme and symbolic as well. Many of their guests had traveled from near and far to be with them that day. They even had a map at the welcome table for guests to mark where they were from!
The reception was held at the NATMUS museum that used to be the factory where many classic cars were built back in the early 1900’s. History was everywhere!! Andy and Kate made their own history that day as they started the next chapter in their lives as man and wife.
Their first dance was an extra special song… You Look Beautiful Tonight played but it wasn’t any ordinary song. Andy had recorded it especially for Kate. It was quite possibly the sweetest thing I have ever seen. As soon as she heard his voice she looked at him, smiled, and threw her arms around him. So special. So sweet. Their love story just gets better and better!
As the night went on they danced together, visited with old friends and enjoyed the magic of their day. I’m so pleased to get to know people from around the country and am honored to capture your love story. Congratulations Andy and Kate!!
